This is Warren Ellis's fault

I am a fan of comics. I like Warren Ellis. He is a good writer.

This blog is his fault.

I subscribed to his Bad Signal newsletter about a year or so ago, and liked receiving e-mails which gave me insight into the comics business, and I liked hearing his opinions on things.

But then he had to go and mention Thomas Carnacki and his electric pentagrams.

Electric pentagrams. It struck me, and I liked it, and I don't know why. I had never heard of William Hope Hodgson or his fictional supernatural detective, but I already loved the idea.

So I called my blog, which I always wanted to do, but either gave up halfway through, or never got around to it, quite simply: Electric Pentagram. I have no idea what this blog will be about, but it will simply be.

Or something.

The future is here; get on the train now, or you're going to be left behind with the mutant cockroaches.

P.S. If you're wondering what I'm talking about, the wikipedia article for Thomas Carnacki can be found here.
